   I'm currently on the train to Copenhagen. Just heard this American talking to his Danish friend. They're rich because they were talking about their boats.

   Just heard him complain about Trump but said "At least, musk has a vision for the future in 100 years". His friend says "hopefully he runs for president next time". The American explained to her that he can't but essentially no fucking idea that Musk is currently there acting like he bought the White House

     @engravecavedave It really does. I used to do work that brought me into contact CEO-tier wealthy people every now and then, and at no point did the quality of discourse and analysis at their tables reach the heights of what we had going on when I was a permanently wasted squatter. Not even fucking close.

     OMG, they're now talking about why English is the global language and the American is like, "well English is the most descriptive language besides maybe German. Romance languages aren't that good for discribing scientific concepts."

     The two genders, I guess: Germanic and romance. Only those two
