I woke up, thinking "huh Israel surely must seize the opportunity and start attacking Syria soon" and then opened the news and see Damascus being bombed by Israeli rockets.

This isn't particularly surprising is it, the Syrian weaponry needs to be destroyed before potential enemies can seize power.

They took the Golan heights on Sunday, the next escalation was evident.

And this comes at a good time as now Netanyahu can't possibly be spending time at a trial.
