   Just got a legit text from a health system:

   “[someone] is conducting an asthma treatment clinical trial to reduce the environmental impact of inhalers. See if you qualify: …”

   LOL WTF NO. It's not that I don't care about the environment, but that freaking asthma inhalers are so freaking far down the list of imaginable pollution sources, and their reliability and effectiveness so utterly critical to someone having *an asthma attack*, that I’m quite offended that they’d dare ask. No. LOL, no.

     @tek What? You wanna cut back on *inhaler pollution*, then lets minimize car traffic and schools near major highways so kids are less likely to get asthma in the first place!

     @tek Same absurdity as worrying about plastic waste in medicine generally but meanwhile we have ubiquitous consumption of apple sauce and yogurt from single serving containers made of multilayer plastics.
