     While these features do not seem to exist yet, are there any plan to support this later?

     - hardening options like in systemd (disposable user, limit access to paths, disable networking)
     - handle users services
     - composable {pre,post}-{start,stop} commands

     @solene Shepherd can handle unprivileged user services, as is done on Guix Home.

     For the rest, we’d need to discuss the specifics, but why not? It might be that in some cases the solution will differ from what systemd does, or will be a Guix System/Home concern rather than Shepherd. Food for thought!
