   This is your dumb argument:

   "Some things are determined to happen based on physical reality whether we do anything or not. Therefore, it's a waste of time to deliberate on any choice?"

   What your dumbass argument fails to acknowledge is that other things aren't predetermined to happen and require our input to make a choice on what happens, and if we care about the outcome, then it obviously would matter to us. Such a stupid argument.

     @tomcapuder Materialists: You try to make a sensible choice between two options. If it is so determined by physical reality, it will just happen. If not, well, it won't happen. That means that #deliberating is a complete waste of your time.

     I believe that our actions are predetermined, but that doesn't mean that everything is set in stone. We can still make choices. It's just that those choices were influenced by past actions that we have no control over, so in that sense they are predetermined, but we can still choose to do things. Materialists have reason to believe that making choices isn't a waste of time.
