     @dansup The main goal of new "Tiktok" is to disallow botfarms to misuse platform moderation features, and moderation to be actually useful. Tiktok is ditching itself because it allows pe*os to float, because one report doesn't matter I guess, while baning absolutley innocent creators because of bot farms. And it goes further than local scope.

     @dansup The time that I asked during the second? Third? Attempt on banning TikTok. I believe the creation of Loops was an answer to that. I mean, why not popular people will use this instead of Instagram reels and youtube shorts?

     @dansup It won't let me in. I registered, when I try to login, it just says error, when I try to reset password it says there's no such account, when I try to register again, it says there is already account with this email address and username.

     @dansup I'm curious, does Loops use some kind of algorithm or is it purely chronological? This type of SoMe benefits from some kind of algo, even a basic one. It would for example to have 3 feeds: One that pushes likes to the top, one that is for followings only that pushes boosts to the top and a third that is chronological only.

     i have a guess or feeling that tiktok finds a new owner and survives.

     probably will be rightwing billionaire, and heads similar direction than x.com, facebook and some others.
