   The moment women and children were released by Syrian rebels from Assad’s #Saydnaya prison. This is really emotional. They are clearly scared of what’s happening so the rebels are telling them “don’t be afraid, we are the revolutionaries. Go get out.”

     @malte it was the armed rebels who broke into the prison and they’re still there as there are underground floors they’re trying to reach

     @ayoub That's fucked up the regime imprisoned children. Who were the people that released the prisoners? 'Rebel' is a bit of an ambiguous term in Syria. EDIT: I've been slow to keep updated. I see Assad left the country so I assume these could be anyone breaking into the prison by now.
