   I'm using platformio to build firmware for an ESP8266 I've got hooked up to a MHRV system, what's the best way to compile in the WiFi SSID and password but exclude it from git?

     @ryanc Not really what you want but there is always wifimanager so you can add it to your network in the captive portal and dont need to recompile if you change your password https://github.com/tzapu/WiFiManager
