   pwm and i just started a xmpp chat with each other, and not only did omemo work flawlessly between devices, but even emoji reacts worked perfectly. we haven't audio/video called but i know that works perfectly
   
   basically if you have any issues with xmpp just know that they're all skill issues

     @shibao i was discussing xmpp with pwm a month ago or so. we both kind of laughed that we had systems up but didn't use them much. xmpp is nice and easy. "trickiest" part is making sure you share omemo fingerprints with your squad. and even that is trivial.
