Lesson from transgender transition:

Reconciling a Twitter identity with the fact that Twitter is likely going bankrupt or at least is going to turn into Fox News is going to take time.

Folks who have identities less invested in Twitter easily see the fork in the road. Others will need time. There will be hurdles and psychological gymnastics while folks separate who they are from what Twitter told us they were.

We must be patient. We must be supportive. We must love people for who they are.
