Also, dogs get you on a schedule whether you like it or not. And maybe schedule will be good for me as much as it is for her.

I think we had a crate training breakthrough today…I did some yoga for the first time in years, right next to the crate. And though she howled and whined off and on, she learned to regulate herself, and finally settle and sleep as I ignored her, or occasionally just say it’s okay. Since, I’ve put her in twice, and this last time it was easily with barely a whimper and she fell asleep. I may get a bit of a life back soon. Be able to run errands, get groceries. See the doctor, etc.!

I am smoking much less weed. I think I am eating somewhat healthier and less, I am walking maybe a bit more, and I am going to keep up doing yoga, though I am terrible at it. I need it. And it helps crate training. Michiko is so much bigger already with long legs, lean body. And wants to follow & befriend every single dog & person she meets. I can’t wait until she can really play in the park. She’s going to love it.
