   Many years ago, my complete vinyl collection was stolen. 1200 records. Quite some of them very rare bootlegs, one-offs and first pressings. I was devastated. As a former DJ, my collection was my (musical) life. But now, years later, I see it as a reboot. I was stuck in my "old" music and wasn't ready to explore new fields. Over the years since, I have broadened my tastes and interests and am back to a new collection that is VERY different. I still miss some of the rare ones, though. 1/2

     But one thing hasn't changed. It's only "my" music when I have a physical representation. CD or Vinyl (preferred). Of course I rip them so I can put them on my iPod (yes, I am that old. Classic iPod with 80GB hard drive, best sound ever ;) So to whomever stole my collection: You are forgiven. That Flim-Flam picture disc, though. Feel free to send it back to me, in whatever anonymous way possible. I'd be very grateful :)

     @jwildeboer 1200 records is quite a lot of weight to steal! Good on you for moving forward.

     EDIT: 1200 records is also the exact correct size of a DJ's vinyl collection 😂

     Hahaha! I found the Flim-Flam picture disc on eBay. Ordered. One trauma resolved :)
