   I added a basic page, documenting the U-Boot x86 payload that was recently added to Libreboot's coreboot setup:

   More info to be written at a later date, but this should be enough to get started.

   Now I just need to update the build system docs (just a few tweaks) and finish the release announcement.

   Libreboot release is imminent!

   Reminder: U-Boot provides a basic UEFI implementation, and this is what it's used for in Libreboot, to provide UEFI Linux/BSD configuration.

     @libreleah thanks! Maybe it would be helpful to make a table somewhere of use-cases and which payloads are most suited to handle them.

     @libreleah i trying on qemu and tested in my real machine that is a asus mainboard sandybridge, after getting blob by lbmk in elf/amd64coreboot/u-boot.bin, and try to boot in qemu, qemu is breaking as segfault apic error and in my machine is not booting giving black screen

     @solosolador oh, yeah i guess you're pulling it out of lbmk and putting it in your own image. you have to add it to cbfs as a flat binary at a specific offset; look at include/rom.sh to see how it's added

     libreboot executes it from seabios but you could add it standalone if you wish

     coreboot's own build system doesn't yet support 64-bit u-boot. please make sure to use the x86_64 one from lbmk and add it manually, with your coreboot config specifying "no payload" prior to manual insertion
