I have identified a #Mastodon problem.
I see a lot of fake accounts, and when I report them, the Mastodon moderators do an excellent job of shutting them down.
But when shut down, the accounts become invisible. This removes disinformation, which is good, but at the same time it prevents the public from seeing the grounds for removal.
This lack of insight into Mastodon’s moderation decisions, will with certainty give rise to all kinds of speculation and condemnation.
This should be corrected.
