   @fritjof @bloodaxe Somehow, this doesn't surprise me. I need to spend some time with Mint (it's been years) so I can better inform my own recommendations to new users. It used to be Ubuntu, somewhat reluctantly.

   Lately, I think something like Mint or Zorin might be better choices.

     @killyourfm @fritjof Mint will be the distro I will introduce my family to as well. My younger brother might benefit from a more bleeding-edge distro in the future, but stability matters a lot after all!

     @bloodaxe @fritjof The beautiful thing about Linux is something like Mint can be a gateway for your brother. And if he loves it, he'll likely enjoy discovering all those bleeding-edge options. Very cool!
