   @hijabicatgirl can''t speak for guam because I'm not there but one of the really cool things about CNMI (commonwealth of the northern marianas islands) is that they operate MUCH more independantly from US than Guam does. They don't let anyone on the island own land unless they're chamorro or carolinian (the two native groups

     @hijabicatgirl they actually speak chamorro (but spell it with colonized european accent marks because guam sucks and then claims Saipan are the ones using colonizer language) and its very similar to spanish but also has a bit of late japanese influence on words that came into existence from like 1910-1943
