   I posted something like this once on Twitter and folks from the Philippines and Indonesia were like ‘I would not have a place to study at all if not for McDonalds’

     @skinnylatte I feel like many people wouldn't have a place to live or any insurance here in SG without McDonalds.

     Pretty sure it was in a McDs I closed on our resale HDB years ago 😅

     Also groups of school kids doing homework with a consolidated pile of fries in the middle of the table.

     I found it all utterly bizarre when I first arrived.
