     @chris I have a net gear Orbi system at home but when I upgraded to fiber this year the Orbi router started just crapping out from time to time. Was planning to add a ubiquity router to help… but now wondering if I should consider other routers??

     @chris damn was considering them after my orbi system basically destroyed itself via a firmware update. went with the tp-link basic deco mesh set up which has many limitations, but has been solid from costco for $400. but, was planning on eventually migrating to a unifi to really go back to a more custom build out.

     @chris I wish there were more options in the home/hobbyist/semi-pro market for networking gear. I guess there are a lot of options, but mostly Chinese based. I'm a little paranoid...but having all my data passing through a Chinese made networking device just seems like a bad idea...but I guess they all are so who am I kidding?? What to do....

     @chris no rush, but just curious what you bought, that way i can kind of factor that into any future decisions i make. i’ve got some time, as i need to plan out how to also set up the POE as well.
