@snacks like light recoil propulsion is absolutely possible but there's a reason the serious concepts are more like expanding 1 km^2 of foil near a star

@snacks no, orion works by using a nuke to vaporize a bunch of mass away from the spacecraft so it's propelled by the reaction force, just like a regular rocket engine but with nukes

but its not really fit for interstellar flight and also good luck sailing back ig
there was also some silly thing where you accelerated it by firing laser into it from earth
