Man, I'm trying not to be mad; in fact I'm mostly just disappointing because it really does seem like some of y'all are just looking for a reason to talk with/argue with fascists even though I'm telling you that I've spent half my life studying fascism and opposing fascists and that simply does not work.
I dunno what to do with that. From out here it seems like your primary goal is winning arguments against fascists and I know that is impossible and just legitimates them which is BAD.

You wouldn't debate a mass murderer. You just wouldn't. You might tell bystanders "hey stay away from that guy he's a monster with a gun" but you wouldn't start debating the dude.
So I dunno what to say; you still haven't figured out that there's no saving fascists and they're not playing the same game you are - and if you don't figure that out, you will NEVER beat them. They will take advantage of your posture that this is normal or rational somehow and use it to harm more people.
Period.

They are literally counting on you to see them as normal and worthy of human respect, their behavior as "politics," their style of "debate" as genuine. They don't care about convincing you, what they're trying to do is create space for their methods to function. You cannot "win" by participating in EXACTLY what they want you to do. Don't take my word for it, Goebbels himself said this shit once the Nazis took over. They use your rational "liberalism" as a weapon against you; on purpose.

The correct response, the ONLY correct response is fascists get nothing. Not respect, not debate, not companionship, not an argument, not community, not safety, not kindness, nothing. It would be best if you gave them a taste of your boot, but I understand that's not always possible every time. What you cannot do, what you mustn't do, is create the impression that their arguments are up for discussion. Nothing is stopping you from shouting them down, calling them nazis, booing them out the room.

@AnarchoNinaWrites Even if you feel you've ""won"" the debate, you're just making them learn of their mistakes for the next debate. Every new argument that disarms them and every evidence that shocks them, they're gonna study them and get immunized against it.
You can't ""win"" a debate with fascists because by the mere act of talking to them you're losing in many fronts.
