That's the extent I look into it and at least according to this it wasn't merged into the stable release.
@phnt@kim@eris@mold you know what I meant. But yeah, "keep software up to date" is at least 75% of successful server administration, the bug is fixed, the fix just hasn't been tagged in that branch. It'll get there.
@prettygood@kim@eris@mold I'm starting to take the "don't update unless needed pill" for basically every computer I own. Too many things just break randomly these days. The only reason why I run my own branch of develop is to catch these bugs before they get released, because I care about Pleroma and it being better than it is.

I update compulsively (I'm the guy that would be running "pacman -syU" or whatever to update their systems every day, except its emerge world), but I trust the 'stable' keyword on Gentoo and I stick to it with precious few exceptions, and I try to never install anything outside of portage or docker.
