   We are people for whom the current American medical system actually works pretty well. It's not, in fact, a broken system; it's a TIERED system.

   Which makes it MORALLY broken.

     Spouse has been further treated, now by our own providers, and has a surgery date of Thursday. All should be basically well by Christmas, for which we are extremely grateful.
