  I’ve gotten used to the new Photos app and don’t mind it much, but I will say I haven’t heard a single person in my offline life say they like it. Most seem to not like it and others don’t have a big opinion of it. https://www.threads.net/@thisistechtoday/post/DDCu2v-RdJk

    The Apple Photos complaints aren’t just a western media thing. While in Bali I was talking to someone I just met and she asked what I did. I said I made tech review videos on YouTube. The first thing she said is “oh, wow! *I don’t know anything about tech.* You’re like a magician (lol).” She suddenly had a thought come to mind and exclaimed “wait, do you know about the new iPhone software update? I hate the new photos app. It’s terrible!” I didn’t expect it to be a universal global thing. 🫠
