@WeirdWriter I personally never joined the slow web. I just didn’t stop making my website for its visitors and for myself.
The main change I did a while ago is a play on something a TV moderator in a public television science show for kids used to say at the end of each episode: "and now you can shut down the goggle-box".
That’s why now every one of my articles ends with: "To read on, see the links at the top. To take a break, just close this page."
@WeirdWriter It’s just a footer set via CSS ::after content, so it doesn’t actually have to be sent with each page, but whether screenreaders read that seems to be implementation specific.
