     That depends on what you mean by "believe in ourselves." If you mean, "Do we have confidence in ourselves," then some of us do, and some of us don't, just like everyone else. If you mean, "Do we believe we exist," then, once again, the sentiment is similar to everyone else, that being that we generally believe that we exist, and anyone who thinks otherwise are outliners. Atheists are just regular people who just so happen to not believe in a god.

     I was not created by a god/goddess. I was birthed by my parents, they were birthed by their parents, humans in general evolved from other animals, as did all other living creatures on earth, and there's much scientific evidence that suggests that the first lifeforms evolved from simple organic non-living compounds (theory of abiogenesis), and in addition, there is no scientific evidence that proves that we were created by an intelligent designer. #science #atheism #evolution

     The two aren't equivalent. Evolution is a scientific that has been proven to be true. The Adam and Eve story, which states that all humans descended from two people, has been proven by genetics and biology to be demonstrably false.

     Evolution has been scientifically proven whether you like it or not. If you want to ignore it and believe in your religious stuff, then you can do that, but at least be honest about your choice.

     Evolution is a scientific fact, and you can keep responding to me and doing what is the equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting, "NO, IT'S NOT! NO, IT'S NOT!, over and over again like a child, but after you get through, evolution will still be a fact. You have the internet. Just look up information on evolution for yourself. It's freely available. You have no excuse.
