Reminder that Star Wars THE CLONE WARS and Avatar The Last Airbender both did a gigantic Push towards Libtardism within the Animation Industry. People can cope with ''BUT THEY WERE GOOD SHOWS'' it doesn't matter, both Shows massively pushed Libtard Messaging. -

Dragon Ball Z didn't even air in America until Toonami 98 on Cartoon Network. Aeon Flux was around way before that I would say 1993/94 if my memory serves me right.✙ dcc :pedomustdie: :phear_slackware: likes this. -

In the 90's as kid this was beyond wild and out of the ordinary programming for TV shows.

It was different time my fren... the 90's had no rules, but the animation was definitely anime inspired.

The 90's were called the dark age of animation for a reason, I guess. :animu_laugh2: In conversation permalink -

Honestly it was the only anime style show from America that ever had success. The oldheads may remember Aeon Flux on MTV's Liquid Television as being an honorable mention.

Could you elaborate on Avatar the last Airbender? I thought it pushed the idea that many traits are genetic and immutable (bending is inherited).

I thought Airbender was cool because it was the first ever American anime that didn't suck.In conversation permalink -

Yeah the anime scene became mainstream around that time but it was limited to Hollywood Video rentals and Toonami on cartoon network. An honorable mention was Saturday Night Anime on the Scifi Channel this was 92-93 era.
