I kinda like how Radian attaches their comps. Much better than threads and set screws on flats

I'm always interested in handgun designs that aren't tilting barrel or fixed. I have had the chance to hold one and they seemed promising
Attaching a comp causes significant changes in reliability even with those normal guns. I imagine it would be 10x worse with a rotating barrel like the PX4 -

One handgun I can't recommend is a Beretta PX4 Storm. It looks good, but the rotating barrel can cause problems.
