My hobby is to go to every single ‘ethnic’ grocery store and to buy and try all the savory snacks. Especially if they are rice based, soy sauce based, cheesy or ham-my. I do not like most American snack foods hehe

I don’t really like the ethnic snack options at Trader Joe’s: in a pinch some of them will do (I like the lentil curls!) but they still tend to lean too sweet for me and the flavors just aren’t as punchy as the options in an Asian or Mexican market
Like I much rather deal with the ultra processed standard junk food snacks than most of the TJ’s stuff

@bicmay Lay’s Thailand has this fantastic 2 in 1 potato chip. Half the bag is ‘grilled seafood’ and the other half is ‘seafood sauce’.
Recently went to a Eastern European market and also tried many things! Irvin’s is from Singapore and I grew up eating their salted egg crab dish (not exclusive to them, they just popularized it). Always fond of it

I like doing this, too, except I will also try the sweet stuff. What are your favorites?
I like Irvins salted egg chips and the Turtle Chips choco churro flavor.
