When I have time I make and freeze my own rotis and naans, but when I don’t I get these. A friend from Mumbai recommended them as ‘the one roti that’s not homemade that my mother doesn’t hate when she visits me’

If I’m at madras grocery in Sunnyvale, I stock up on the Daily Delite brand of frozen ‘coin parotta’. As good as a v good roti canai / prata back home, at the restaurant

@arun I haven’t seen this brand, but I was excited to have started to see some id food products show up recently.
I’m v picky with indian food and dont really like the North Indian brands like Haldiram which is more of what you get here unless you go to a southern grocery store (I mean I wont complain but I wont seek them out), and so the more southern brands the better. More to my taste!
For parotta I get daily delight, their Malabar style is g good

@skinnylatte Oh word, this is freakishly good, especially since it actually puffs up like an actual phulka even.
Don't know if you get these in the US, but I also enjoy these (definitely more decadent than the phulkas): https://shanafoods.ca/product/original-paratha-5-pcs-201255
