   Too many variables in one question to get a quantifiable response.

   I did vote No, but is that because:

   a) I don't think volunteer-run servers are a reliable path for the future?

   b) I don't think open registrations are a good path for the Fediverse?

   c) both?

   Better split questions into ones that only deal with one aspect.

     @paulschoe sure. I understand your point but I literally do polls every single day and I structure them exactly how I want to. I am specifically asking about the governance structure that most people encounter when they first come to the Fediverse: a list of volunteer-run servers that allow registration by strangers. I am not interested in either of these topics in isolation.
