   New backpack. Was using a rather small one before. It limits what I could get on the bike, grocery shopping, without the trailer. This will allow for intermediate loads when the trailer is overkill.

     I love the trailer, but there are three stairs down to the street and it's a whole production getting both the bike and it in and out. So if I don't HAVE to take it, I don't.

     I'm lucky I have an apartment I still pay under $950/mo for. Free heat and hot water.

     And it is appropriately 1/3 of my monthly take home.
