   @thomholwerda gotta get those sweet affiliate link kickbacks.

   (Full disclosure: I'm a mostly reformed tech journalist, and once did Black Friday coverage as a freelancer for a well known publication's site. It was hell. I miss when there was a more solid division between editorial and ad sales.)

     Ah, Black Friday, when all the tech media go full mask-off and show you what they really are: sleazy salesmen.

     So, so, so many "stories" that are just ads for discounts.
