     Yes, the kernel, Linux has a usb driver that just works with that DAC.
     
     Someone even reverse engineered the protocol and wrote a free software script that allows you to configure it; `git clone https://github.com/nils-skowasch/soundblaster-x-g6-cli`

     @cowanon usb devices cannot interface with WINE as nobody has written the necessary usb passthrough driver.
