     @SolusSpider it used to be a public holiday on the island here, everything was closed including public transport and the churches had Thanksgiving services. For some reason the holiday stopped between 1999-2006

     @SolusSpider I know that I've mentioned it, to this day I just really am shocked by how quickly it was wiped out. I still support the Thanksgiving services when I can; sadly there is a parents evening tonight 😭
