     We also brought our octopus friend to Sydney to tell Trans Tasman Resources,and their parent company Manuka Resources that we will NOT accept seabed mining operations in Aotearoa.

     Ngāti Ruanui representatives and Greenpeace activists are taking action together at the mining giant Manuka Resources AGM in Sydney to protest its plans to begin seabed mining in Taranaki with Trans-Tasman Resources.

     We shut down Manuka Resources’ AGM today, and delivered a message along tangata whenua from Ngāti Ruanui,making it clear that we will #StopSeabedMining every step of the way.

     This new form of colonial extraction must be stopped before it starts.
