Several mainstream public health experts are normalizing Trump's health picks in naive hope that they can limit the damage by finding common ground. This is an example of obeying in advance. Rather than reducing harm, it legitimizes deadly policies and paves the way for worse.

@luckytran this is like how the hospital affiliated clinics that accept my medical insurance took on integrative and functional and other alternative medicine to try to reduce harm and control all that popular pseudoscience stuff, but instead I was given that kind of treatment without knowing I wasn’t getting evidence based medicine. It’s like debating Nazis— all that does is give them more reach.
