Just read this in the Washington Post and it was one of those moments where I felt I really no longer understood my home country. How is it at all strange to ask to use your friend’s diaper changing table to change your own child’s diaper while visiting? What the hell else could one do? Please tell me the last line is a joke.

The US has fallen off the deep end on a number of fronts, but this isn’t one of them. ?

Well, that's a relief. I thought maybe some new "one table, one baby" rule had been formed in my (long) absence.
