   Just remembered that (a) Google Groups exists, (b) that it started as a USENET gateway, and (c) just learned that they turned that bit off early this year.

     @Floppy I'm so disappointed every time I see a project using it. It's like a strictly worse mailing list you can't participate in without linking a Google identity to your participation. 🤬
