     @glynmoody Maybe we first need to start with a right to repair for Software.

     Also called #FreeSoftware — maybe a right to repair could mandate making all software copyleft free software after a granted monopoly period.

     The first step would be public money, public code:

     Public institutions should never pay for software they cannot repair.
