   @gedeonm I kinda hate how everyone keeps screaming about how many fewer people mastodon has. Sure it's not as big, but you say something here and it actually starts a conversation. Twitter, threads, bluesky? They're all just platforms for farming fake internet points (likes) off shouting to the void and hoping the algorithm likes you. People like them for the same reason old people sit at slots staring at flashing lights telling them "you're a winner!" as it bankrupts them slowly.

     Thanks for confirming I made the right choice putting all my time and energy behind Mastodon and not Bluesky.
