   @pluralistic The dumbest fucking thing about #preppers : imagine if, instead of "preparing" for some imagined future crisis, they put all that thought and time and energy into taking care of their communities and the immediate problems thereof.

   Maybe the great crash/disaster/apocalypse /revolution wouldn't seem so imminent then.

   But they'd have to care beyond just themselves 🙄

     Really, these goobers WANT the apocalypse because they think they'll be the protagonist. Literally we're just here to be the extras dying in their mental film.
