   my orange pi 5 fan broke (it makes a very loud noise)

   luckily it doesn't help with thermal at all so i just unplugged it

   bearings probably needs lubricant

     I replaced the fan with heatsink on my Banana Pi BPI-F3 to reduce noise. From my measurements of the CPU temp it seems to work better than the fan.
