     Early Rumiko Takahashi manga has a charm to it that her later works kind of lost. I think the charm often came at the expense of arc pacing. And sometimes like with Maison Ikkoku the anime really butchers the order of things. I can understand why some people don’t like that one but I’m silly and I do.
