It's so sad many Web Developers act in a way like Anchor Positioning and Scroll-Driven Animations are widely supported.

That excludes so many people. Not only these that want to make stuff for everyone, but also many people with older browsers (we're speaking of weeks and months not years) or different browsers than Chromium based browsers.

Dear #WebDev bubble: Please keep in mind that not everyone uses the latest Chrome version.

@kaiserkiwi it's not an easy task to talk about support and include videos inside tutorials.

I write many of those tutorials and I consider them "experimental". I may need twice the effort if I had to make them readable everywhere and honestly I don't think it worth it. I'd prefer to use that effort to write another article instead.

Plus they are not really useful at that stage so you can easily skip them until the support is better.

@css I'm definitely with you here, but it's talked about as it were available everywhere. Especially in Tutorials that often only mention it as a side note.

But the worst part for me as a developer is, that I can't read these tutorials, as they always just include Codepens that do nothing on my iPhone. Not a single video or at least an explanation.

@kaiserkiwi In the other hand, if no one demonstrate the use of new features, the browsers will do nothing. They will act like "It's not an important feature so no need to hurry and implement it".

If a feature is not widely used, it will never become widely supported.
