     @lina i used to be poor and bought my 580 for cheap, then got a second hand rx480 and plugged them both in and it worked surprisingly, some games supported it but i never noticed a real gain in performance.

     @creamqueen amd is a fucking pain in the ass i had to remotely try to help a "friend" with an amd card he bought as an upgrade and it just didn't fucking work at all, amd on linux is a fucking meme it doesn't fucking work, nvidia works perfectly if you just install the drivers
