Dropping off my kid (10yo) to school today, he asked me about pirating.

I explained that yes, pirating is in general illegal. It's also just in many situations.

Explaining how we (Brazil) pirated medication for AIDS and how rich countries have access to Covid vaccines and medication and we don't, and Paxlovid does not exist in Brazil, he said

"You'd have to be a psycopath to forbid people from having access to life-saving medication"
