@EugeneMcParland Yes. It's hypocrisy to pretend otherwise. NATO, which has so far saved the Baltic nations from Putler's bloody maw, is more important than ever. God knows what Typhoon Orange will do to change all this.

Paul Sutton (zleap@qoto.org)'s status on Friday, 22-Nov-2024 16:07:16 JST Paul Sutton According to some of our press the UK is making £500,million in savings to the MOD, from the bbc this is cutting out of old kit, such as tanks that are nearly 50 years old or something, I guess this does not suggest actual cuts, as the money spent on those can be better used in other areas, the battle field is changing, if you look at Ukraine, lots of use of missiles, as well as conventional weapons but drones are now playing a huge role, along with the infrastructure to control them.
