I'm concerned about this meme about climate Stalin, a hypothetical strongman who can leverage carceral power against those who are destroying the world. What benefit does this carceral ecology bring us? Abolitionists must increasingly forward abolition ecology, but the contours of what that could mean have yet to be mapped.

@abolisyonista one of the most bizzare content warnings I've read. I love it!
Anyways, yeah this certainly is worth thinking more about. My perspective is that the most ecologically sound approach would be to let more and more greenery grow wild. I'm partly inspired by many of the gardens in my city, which tend to be very wild and are composed of local wildflowers and wild grass. They're the core of my vision for anarchist ecology: total freedom for the plants to grow as they please as long as it's not harming other plants.
