   The original #DonkeyKongCountry released 30 years ago today on the #SNES in North America. Love the franchise. I played this and the second game a ton in the 90s. They’re still some of my all-time favorite games. Back then DKC’s graphics, gameplay and music were some of the best. The games are still a lot of fun.

     @cjohnson the graphics were pretty incredible back then. It really felt like a leap in games in terms of what they were capable of.

     Still in my top favorites. I recall a VHS "trailer" for the game around the time this came out showcasing the advanced graphics. I still remember being amazed by the 3D effects.
