Back then Jasper still came up to visit me in my office, usually taking over my desk and putting a halt to all productive work. Between then and now Jasper (now 15 years old) slowed down a good bit and has retired from unnecessary exertion, including stair climbing, so he no longer comes up to disrupt my day. I miss that.
